Meet Johanna
With a background in art & design through a BFA from The University of North Texas, and a love for community building, Johanna started Frisco Women as a way to encourage and enable women in a post-pandemic world & economy to make friends with each other!
Having moved across the country a couple of times herself, she understands the stress of starting over in a new location, and how vital it is to quickly find your village in order to thrive where you’re being planted.
She owns and operates Local Women LLC and all of its subsidiary brands. Together with her husband Joel, they homeschool their two daughters and son. Johanna can often be found laughing at memes, cracking jokes, and not taking life too seriously.

Bre Smith is the vibrant Chief Fun Officer at Frisco Women and The Local Chapter. She has a passion for creating memorable experiences and fostering meaningful connections among members!
With Bre Smith at the helm of the organization, Frisco Women ensures that every interaction is filled with joy, laughter, and positivity.
Bre Smith is a literary lover with a heart as vast as the Lone Star State, and a smile and personality to match! When she's not orchestrating bookish gatherings as the ultimate book club coordinator, she's whipping up delectable treats in the kitchen because life is simply sweeter with a touch of her baking magic.
Bre is your go-to gal for all things celebratory, whether it's a major triumph, a small joy, or simply relishing life's everyday moments. She radiates an infectious love for fun and festivities. Join her on a journey of literary adventures, spreadsheets galore, and endless celebrations!
Meet Blanca
Blanca was born and raised in Mexico, moved to the US at age 21, raised 3 children while building her Real Estate career along side her husband Sean since 2006. Her passion is helping women reach their highest potential.
She naturally she has been been mentoring and creating empowerment events for women throughout the years and that is what has motivated her to lead Latinas en Frisco (sister group to Frisco Women) and to facilitate the business networking and enrichment platform connected to Frisco Women - the Local Women Business Club!

Mia is a multifaceted individual with a deep passion for food, travel, social activities, and a myriad of other interests!
Alongside her adventurous spirit, Mia is the proud owner of BOLD Social, a dynamic venture that embodies her innovative approach to social engagement and community building.
With a unique blend of enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit, Mia continues to inspire others through her diverse pursuits and unwavering commitment to living life to the fullest.
Meet Ayesha
Ayesha Iftikhar - pronounced as I-sha!
A visionary creative director and designer with over a decade of experience. She's not just a designer; she's a brand magician! Ayesha's passion for design led her to start her own branding and design studio, where she weaves storytelling and aesthetics into unforgettable brand experiences.
With her superhero cape of creativity, she's on a mission to empower her community with the superpower of branding awareness.
Fun Fact: While managing design projects and chasing creative inspiration, I've also become an expert at deciphering toddler scribbles! Balancing the world of design with motherhood has taught me to see beauty in chaos and create masterpieces both on and off the drawing board.
