Hey Elizabeth thank you for joining Frisco Women today for this interview! Let’s get started by telling our readers about yourself and your background!

I am a Puerto Rican born & raised in the Bronx, NY. Graducated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI with a Hotel Management degree. I moved to Texas in 1995 for a temporary assingment that was supposed to end 6 months later. I've now been a Texan for almost 30 years. I started my Mary Kay business in 2001 to meet new people and save $ on taxes. I've been building my beauty business ever since. I've been married for 26 years and have two adult kids. We love being empty nesters.

Thank you for sharing! We love our members and are always curious about how they came to us; when and how did you find out about Frisco Women?

I joined Frisco Women right before we hit 1,000 members and it popped up in my recommended groups on FB.

We love you Elizabeth! You were at our first happy hour event! Can you tell us a little about your business? We’d love to know how you got started, and where you’ve grown to today!

I started my Mary Kay business in 2001 part time while managing a hotel in Fort Worth. 2 years later, I earned the use of my first career car and became a Sales Director. When I started the business I grew it from referrals and word of mouth, before cell phones & social media. My biggest challenge has been adapting to social media and all the technology available to grow your brand and business. Being apart of Frisco Women and meeting so many ladies with these skills has given me the opportunity to learn and grow.

Do you have any advice for our readers?

Don't be afraid to try something new and welcome partnerships with other brands to help grow yours.

Now just for fun, what are your local favorites? We always like knowing about people’s favorite restaurants, dishes, drinks, etc!

Oh gosh, it's Frisco! so many. J.Theodore - happy hour and speak easy, Summer Moon in downtown Frisco for their coffee. I also love 5th St. Patio Cafe, Glorias, and I love Blue Moon, wine and rum.

Do you know of any best kept secrets ? Something you wish more people knew about?

Salads & Go - such good salads and super cheap.

Thank you Elizabeth for joining us today! Thank you for always being willing to host events at your home when we ask you! You’re the best! Where can our readers find you?
