Hi Michelle thank you for joining Frisco Women today for this interview! Let’s get started by telling our readers about yourself and your background!

I’m Michelle and I consider myself a Texan even though I was born in West Virginia. I grew up there in the trees, the mountains, and the snow and we moved to Richardson in 1979. We then moved to Celina TX in 1984. That little town shaped me. Following high school, I went to Texas Tech University and earned my BSN-RN. In 2005 I completed both my MBA and MHA virtually via Alameda University’s graduate degree program. I have been a clinician and a healthcare executive for many years.

Post COVID I retired from clinical nursing as an RN, Ret. During that time i got the idea to transition out of traditional nursing and into aesthetics. I knew I missed patients. I knew I missed caring for people directly, so post retirement I decide aesthetics was my calling. Three years later I have a booming word of mouth aesthetics business. I’m making women and men feel amazing about themselves. What more could anyone want? I went from being done with nursing after COVID to realizing I could help people feel beautiful about themselves.

That’s awesome. Can you tell us a little about your business? We’d love to know how you got started, and where you’ve grown to today!

I had retired from clinical nursing after COVID. I was DONE. Then aesthetics fell into my lap and I realized I had an incredible opportunity to make people feel great about their appearance. I paid for everything out of my pocket. I attended every training I could find to perfect my craft.

Do you have any advice for our readers?

Never give up on yourself. If an opportunity presents itself CARPE DIEM. You can figure out logistics after the fact. Jump in feet first. I’ve never regretted it

Now just for fun, what are your local favorites? We always like knowing about people’s favorite restaurants, dishes, drinks, etc!

J Theodore, TruFire, Bottled in Bond and Bavette Grill

Do you know of any best kept secrets ? Something you wish more people knew about?

The secret to life? Take a chance. You won’t be disappointed

Thank you Michelle for joining us today! Where can our readers find you?
